Fascinating idea. As a non-academic devotee of both writers, I would find this interesting.
There is also the difference that Hemingway, unlike Percy, experienced the mass suicide of war — a major, generational difference in relation to respective encounters with Thanatos.

Sounds like a cool project.
Apparently, Hemingway's father committed suicide, like Percy's. As you probably know, Hemingway took his own life, but Walker didn't. Comparing their approach to death/suicide and how this manifests itself in their novels might be an interesting
entrance into the comparison.
For the record, I've never seen someone compare Percy with Hemingway yet.

I am exploring the possibility of writing a comparative analysis of four works by Percy and four works by Hemingway. The only thing I have seen is an article by William Rodney Allen, "All the Names of Death," and his book, A Southern Wayfarer. He states that
Percy thought Hemingway was more of a stoic than a Christian. I am interested in any help on researching this topic.
