My very personal view is that we are rushing into chaos with
fundamentalists of all sorts ruling this poor planet. Somehow I'm
reminded of Orwell's "1984" and Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451", not to
mention Doris Lessing's "Shikasta" -all of which bear a re-reading in
the light of what's going on everywhere...

PS. Again, as some of you very well know, I'm not precisely a fan of
Mr. Chávez -but that doesn't mean I'm very tranquil or happy with the
likes of Mr. Bush, Mr. Rumsfeld or the pious Mr. Robertson.
