In my discussion with Stephanie around the Rich Client, we were
thinking of Guild "Wizards" (pardon the Windows term). A set of say 5
objects. They start prefilled with basic search terms. There's the
n-fixer object, you click it, and a search is preformed, with nitrogen
fixing required (plus "global" items like your hardiness zone, or
location that apply to the whole guild). You find a plant you like, and
save it into that object (now the plant itself), and continue on
through the tree, vine, etc recommended plants for a guild (of which
there could be a variety that are built).

Off top of my head this sounds promising and interesting.
Global items would be some sort of stored user prefs/data indicating that
user's 'global' info such as climate, soil, etc., yes?
In that sense is was thinking of the specific guild the person is building (you might be helping out a client with different specs).
But yes, something that raises the rank (or drops if it doesn't match) the results based on higher level "global" settings of the user, or guild...

Looks like you beat me to the discussion in my previous email.

The uses table as it exists is composed of 270 defines uses (of which, surprisingly fodder and timber aren't a part). There is also a more freeform field with more hand written text, where apparently 'fodder' and 'timber' have been used.

Cheers,
Bear
