Aloha,
OK, here we go...
John S.
1.post alpha PIW Roundup issue tracker
Just did that...
NOTE: do NOT pass this on to PIW list at present! Just us here in PCPlantDB-list-land.
2.solicit and integrate feedback/suggestions from PIW and pcplantdb lists
This ought to start happening any moment now...:-)
NOTE - for now I want feedback from "us" (core group) only (see NOTE above on NOT releasing to PIW list).
I have PIW list turned off anyhow at present, need to keep my mail load down still.
3.organize user test of first build (to happen on a weekly basis)
We need some build milestones, or at least Chad to define a starting point/release for the "first" build.
I don't need builds done weekly in particular; I would be inclined to let Chad and/or Rich have some flex in determining when a formal build ought to be released.
All I need is a few days' advance notice so I can be sure to add the new build number to the "Build" field list in the tracker.
4.when we are ready, organize a design review
OK - how will we know when we are ready?
ADD to my tasks, between 2. and 3. above:
2.2 further customization of PIW issue tracker based on my punchlist and core group feedback.
2.4 provide some combo of FAQ/HowTo, with examples, for use of PIW issue tracker.
All for now...
cheers,
John S.
