Hey Rich, we'll help you sort this out. But there's some things I need to go over:

1) Our vhost settings only point to permaculture.org, not permaculture.info. Are these meant to be the same site? If so, I can add permaculture.info as a ServerAlias, if not, it's a bit more complex.

2) Presently, permaculture.info resolves to 152.46.7.122, which is our login server rather than our web cluster. You'll need to alter the A record for this address to point ot 152.46.7.81.

3) The permaculture.org site resides on our servers at /public/vhost/p/permaculture/html/. That dir is owned by user 'spittman'. What happened to him? Can I remove his account? If not, then I'll need to create a group and add both pfaf and spittman to the group, and add group write permissions over the directory.

Please Advise...

Thanks!

Hi Folks,
I'm part of the permaculture.info project in collaboration with Lawrence London, lfl@intrex.net and others. The project has a new lease of life and I would like to take over the account

The domain www.permaculture.info, owned by The Permaculture Institute, hosted at ibiblio, is where you should install
the wiki. This will keep everything in alignment with future funding channeled through Scott and the PI and fulfillment
of Threshhold grant committments. Scott and I discussed this and it seems to be a reasonable approach.

Bear and Chad have the login details but you should contact ibiblio and have them transfer all permissions for that
filesystem to you then create a group for it for future use by any development team, each with ibiblio accounts, you
choose. A number of folks in the pcdb list will probably want to be part of that.

I'd like to install a customized version of MediaWIki software to run our new wiki/database.

I already have an account (pfaf) on ibiblio.

Would it be possible to give me the login details for the acount corresponding to permaculture.info.

Many thanks

Rich
