Hi all,

Below is a list of items we should complete first before going forward;
please respond with your choice, even if I fail to list what your choice maybe.

I. Method of coming to final agreements: Republic, Democracy, or Consensus?

Republic: (three skilled persons with the highest access to the project files and resources ask for ideas and opinions; if the group as a whole cannot decide, the three skilled persons vote on it and the whole group abides by the decision).

Democracy: those on the dev team take a vote; the vote is final and the whole group abides by the decision.

Consensus: Everyone must agree to the final decision.

(My preference is Republic or Consensus)

Same here. #1 Republic, #2 Consensus

II. I propose, ask for a vote on the following:
A- that we use MediaWiki, we create objects so that each object and method is tightly constrained (giving us the clear reference tool I hope to see),
Mediawiki is excellent.
B-We use a Content Management System to shape the overall project (if this is possible using MediaWiki) to give a consistent look-and-feel that we can change easily,

Either Mediawiki or Drupal.
The Wikipedia is a great example of Mediawiki.

Here's an example of Drupal:

There are others, TikiWiki is a powerful CMS-like app. Criticisms include: too
difficult and confusing for ordinary users, slow response. PM Wiki is nice.

C- We elect a secretary who will keep track of our decisions and post them via a simple web page that isn't really a part of our main project.

III.-I propose our initial scope is: energy web matricies, organisms characteristics, and environmental effects (If we design this first correctly, I believe all permaculture could be buildt on these premises -for animist a, even a rock is an organism)

Excellent. I would hope we could adopt this plan.
