Have you fed your bees today? Check your honey stores on the hives. The bees have been very active since the temperatures have been unseasonably high in the last few weeks. It's a great time to add sugar in feeders or pollen to keep your bees alive during the most critical part of the year; there is little pollen or nectar available naturally.

As I announced during the meeting last week, I will be submitting a report for the NCSBA Golden Achievement Program.
I need everyone's help for a few items. Please respond to eva. hoke AT duke.edu, rather than 'reply'. Everyone gets the reply many times over. Often emails are received at the workplace and a huge number of replies is not appreciated. Thanks Eva
