Happy New Year to all of the beekeepers!
Forgot to mention at the last meeting that Alamance will start having beginner beekeeping classes Jan 10th, next week. If you are interested, look up the class information on the nc beekeepers site. http://www.ncbeekeepers.org/courses.htm
Other classes are offered in other counties, but this is the closest to us.
The classes are very helpful for beginners and those that need a bit of refreshing. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or contact the instructors listed on the web page.
Even if you do not plan to become a beekeeper this year, it's a great way to decide if beekeeping is for you. The course is very inexpensive for the wealth of infomation you will gain. Also, a bonus, you will be able to meet many friendly beekeepers from the area.
See you on Thursday. Eva
