Jay, I would not know which cultivar the fruit in your photo is. It's most
likely from an ornamental crab or a rootstock. Siberian crab is often used
here as a rootstock because of its hardiness. -- Sam

Thanks for the comments about Dolgo. I've looked at pictures of Dolgo online
and it doesn't look much like the specimen I found.

If you haven't already, I wonder if you could take a look at the picture I
posted. It doesn't have the redness typical of Dolgo and it is much more
definitely pear shaped. The shape is so distinctive that it caught my eye
immediately.

Guess I'm wondering exactly what it is if not Dolgo.
