The mold shouldn't be an issue for seed germination, but if you are
concerned, I would soak the seed in a 10% bleach solution for 2-3 minutes.
That should kill any of the mold and shouldn't impact the embryos. This sort
of surface sterilization of seeds is common prior to in-vitro germination
treatments and usually involves much longer periods of time with negligible
impact.

I was saving some apricot seeds for a future plant breeding experiment. I
ran out of counter room so I tossed some semi-dry ones in a ziploc bag with
the top open. They started molding. Is there anything I can use to kill the
mold that won't kill the seed?
