Can anyone give me a first-hand account of the good/bad and U. of this
plant.? Is it more invasive than other wild berries? Is the fruit actually
protected by some type of covering until ripe?
Thank you

It appeared in my yard a few years ago. Tough canes, spreads but not too
quickly. The berries are beautiful, glistening in the sun. Mild taste here,
not good keepers. Now they have caught the local berry fungus/virus and I
don't get to pick them for as long a season as they begin to go bad. First
years they were a delight. I haven't made any effort to get rid of them,
though, as it is food.
