Thanks so much for posting this link about Danish apples. I have a
variety that was given me by a old Dane. He says this apple was grown
for sale in Denmark in the 1960's, and he has not seen it anywhere
else. He called it Pigshon. Using the key, I have narrowed my search
to a handful of varieties that include the word "Pigeon" in their
name. Pigshon sounds a lot like Pigeon. Interesting. I will take a
closer look at this apple when I get home.
