I know of several commercial vineyards  in Oregon which use sheep as part of
their weed control in the vineyard.  Apparently the sheep don't like the
grapes and quickly learn to preferentially go for the grass and weeds first.

HAHAHA.

Yup that works until the day it doesn't.  And goats will strip the bark
girdling fruit trees.  Both species will use fruit trees as rubbing posts.

I have had both goats and sheep.  Short of electrifying the entire tree or
crop I would NEVER rely on aversion training to protect my fruit from them.

We "relocate" squirrels into the middle of a large hayfield for the dog
to catch. It sure makes the dog happy, though one got away. I
"relocate" live trapped coons into the pond or a a watering trough, cage
and all. I hate coons way too much to ever let one go. They eat
setting hens in the night, and destroy more corn than they eat. Donna
