- Subject: [nafex] PV water pumping
- Date: Mon, 6 Aug 2012 17:28:36 -0400
Hey A, Stephen Bach tells me you're pumping, or will pump, water with a
battery-
free PV system. Is that right? I looked into that, and it's done out west
for watering
lonely cattle herds, but I figured nobody around here knew how to install one.
I understand that it takes a different type of pump, i.e. a slow and steady
pump
instead of the usual type here that turns on briefly for a strong flow to a
pressure
tank.
I understand also that one would need to pump it to a tank which could
gravity
feed down to get pressure, but Stephen mentioned pumping to a pressure tank.
What do you know?
