What are the best VERY earliest-ripenning American persimmons?
Some really favor Campbell's NC-10; it may even fruit in late August in some
regions. John Gordon jr. and someone else, I forgot - I think Lucky - said
that he is a very large timber-type tree.
I know that Claypool's H-118 may also fruit at about the same time as NC-10.
I wonder how much later Yates fruits. No doubt, Yates is a better persimmon
then either.
