Hi Steve,

I believe they can be grafted using the same techniques and most other
trees. Bench grafting should work if you can heat the graft in order to
callous
the graft union.

Thanks. I have plenty of pollinators, but really have no place to put =
it. I was able to give it to a friend. I hope he has nearby apples, but =
didn't ask. Flowering crabs are a very common ornamental around here, =
and seedling crabs grow as weeds in all the unkept places, so the odds =
are good he's okay.
