I have an Italian Stone Pine that I grew from seed - it is about 6 feet tall after 5 years - seems to be doing well - long way from producing nuts.

In my zone 7 site, Italian stone pine and Swiss stone pine have done poorly.

Korean pine trees are very healthy if they survive the first year's transplanting. But
they are growing quite slowly, even after a dozen years.

Really interesting Charles! Do you recommend any pine nut trees that
will do well in zone 7?

Recently I was approached and asked for an interview on my farming and
nursery operation by a free lance writer.
