Steven Covacci asked, "Does anyone have any good-fruited, not so disease-susceptible 100% native populations of raspberry (sometimes gray-leaf raspberry), Rubus spp. strigosus?"
It grows profusely here is zone 3 where agriculture hasn't taken a foothold. Where agriculture thrives, farmers have killed it off because it is invasive. While it is relatively disease resistant, it is a stronghold of cane borers, a bane of those of us who attempt to grow more productive varieties of Rubus.
P.S. Though very flavorful, the fruit tends to be small to tiny.
