Group:

Does anyone have any pure (100%) red mulberry (Morus rubra) cultivars or
personal selections? Lucky has two of his own selection; I was wondering if
there were others out there. Please, keep in mind that many supposed red
mulberry cultivars are really hybrids with Morus alba (i.e. cv. 'Illinois
Everbearing', 'Lawson Dawson' - cf: Ken Benton, personal communication).

Thanks,
Steve; NJ 6b/7a

I got my cuttings started late, so I wasn't able to get them in the

ground in June & am just planting them now. Too early to say much

about them,

The website to get those varieties is:

I see that he's gonna raise the price of cuttings at the end of the

month so you may want to order soon if you want some.

Blackberries tend to overcrowd themselves whereupon they stop producing

fruit. You need to do some thinning to get them to bear.
