Steve, things are already sprouting here so its too late. I think your idea
to graft over all the stems sounds like a good one, but you may want to limit
the number of varieties so they are not too crammed. I put four varieties on
one kiwi stem and they all did OK, but I don't know if I would want more
given the difficulty of following all the snaking stems to figure out who was
who.
