Steve,
I bought an English Morello from Raintree - no specific named strain - and
it does wonderfully here in zone 6, that was designated zone 5 until
recently. It stands on Zaiger roots, if memory serves, and isn't even 7 feet
tall after four growing seasons. Got first crop last year: loads of freestone
fruit, red juice and lotsa flavor. A carefree lovely tree.
