Wild truffles grow in my community here in North Central Minnesota but I don't find them until they've matured, having released their spores, too late to eat. Is there any way to find them without a trained dog or pig?
Wow. Sounds like that's a much hardier strain than the one they were selling on the web site.
I wonder if the flavor is the same? -- if so, you might have quite a market selling inoculum.
