Thanks, Richard & Dave.
I'm likely to make an order from Greenmantle anyway. I'm interested in some of their Etter selections. But I was hoping for another site for the Newtown Pippin since Greenmantle doesn't take credit cards. If I'm spending $, I like to at least earn some points while I'm doing it.
I was reading on Kuffel Creek's site last night that M27 may not be necessary. They find the heat down here sort of naturally dwarfs apple trees.
Thanks all,
Megan Lynch

I checked the Greenmantle Nursery website. They have your apple. They don't list M27 as rootstock on hand, but also say they are expanding the options in that line. Give 'em a call at

and see what they say.
I'm ordering benchgrafts of Lord Lambourne/Bud9 and D'Arcy Spice/Bud118 from them this spring.
Hope this helps,
Dave

Another year where I waited too long to order.... Now I'm looking for 'Yellow Newtown Pippin' but I'm looking for it as a bareroot or a benchgraft on a rootstock that can be grown in a container. Does anyone know of a nursery that still has 'Yellow Newtown Pippin' in stock on M27?Megan Lynch
