If anyone is curious/interested, the UofI Extension recently put a guide to growing cranberries around your house...

Doug,
I made jelly out of highbush cranberries that smelled like old socks.  I was wondering if there was a variety which didn't make the house smell like a locker room when being prepared.  My source was wild and certainly had a trilobed leaf.  I can understand why birds don't touch these till they're starving.

Some members were wondering a few weeks ago about variation in fruit
quality in this species.
