I'm a believer.  You should be able to find plants for around $5 apiece in pots.  Balsgard and Ida are my favorites for producing fruit.  2 crops per year.  They do need to have acid soil and I grow mine in lots of peat.  They will grow fine in just plain peat.  Too much sun can be a problem unless they have regualr moisture.  Mine are under shade cloth for the summer season.

I've been interested in putting in some lingonberries and was wondering about other people's experience growing them. The fruit sounds really good and I like the idea of something that ripens late in the growing season. My concerns are that the plants are fairly expensive ($10 St. Lawrence), the yields seem small (1lb per plant after 3-6 years), and they are a bit fussy soilwise. Any believers out there?
