I effort to get the NAFEX out to a broader crowd, I have made a Facebook page for the group. If you have a facebook account, look us up and give us some feedback.

Most of all if you have fruit growing friends or relations, direct them to our page well. It is open to all who are interested. See you online...

Subject: [NAFEX] blackberry and deer

You didn't say where you were...

In the mountain west the deer(mule) come down into the valley for the winter
but go away when the blackberry vines are growing.
When they are dormant I have had no browsing on the vines and the deer
tracks in the snow go right by (over to the apple trees!).
