I am one of a group planting native species in a naturalized city "eco-park" here. We have about 8 seedling pawpaws planted 13-15 years ago, scattered over an area about 100 meters by 15. For several years the trees in near full sun have been bearing moderately without any attention to pollenation. They are in an area fairly well sheltered from strong winds, near the bottom of a gentle slope in sandy loam.

I know that hand-pollenation works, and the material I've read comments
anecdotially about using roadkill for encouragement of pollenators, but does
anyone here have other ideas or have used roadkill (I'd likely just use
scraps of chicken) and know that it works?

Thanks
