People who grow tomatoes and similar plants indoors often achieve pollination without insect pollinators by shaking the plants. The physical shaking can dislodge or transfer enough pollen to the stamens of self compatible varieties to result in fertilization. Being outdoor plants it is possible that normal atmospheric induced motion could accomplish the same thing.
