I have a tree and can share a few cuttings.  It is a fairly small tree, but still would need a very large container.  I'd like to find out what other Figs may do well in the PNW.  Most of what I see locally are two varieities,  Desert King and Brown Turkey, oh yes and once in a while the Brunswick, which is by far the most ornamental tree.

Does anyone know of a reliable mail order source for Violette de Bordeaux fig?  Here in Zone 4b, we have to grow figs in containers and take them into the garage or basement for most of the winter.  From its description Violette would be very manageable in a large pot, one my husband can move around for me.

Along the IL-WI border where everything is frosted due to ice fog.  Still a thick snow pack, though.
