I have had bears break down my apple trees. They climb in tree to
get the apples and break the limbs, usually destroying tree. We want
to hunt the bears. That is why we planted oats. Bears are good to
eat. If you render bear fat it is excellent for pastry. Better than
any other fat you have used.
