Dolly and LLama both take my reading glasses off me, and abscond with pen out of my hand, run off and teethe on it. so there! not bad for a couple of cats born in the wild.
I have succeeded in getting them to purr, eat, and the occasional meow. Oh yeah, llama can open the slider door, but wants the handle lowered.
Their motto is fruit trees are for climbing.!
matt,
peace

I have had zero success training this cat to do anything. I would like to teach him to hold a pen and take notes for me, but he simply refuses to learn to read and write.

Our cat too. The first "6 toed" cat we ever owned. Sometimes he reaches
in his food bowl and picks up a piece of (dry) cat food, using his thumb
and pops it into his mouth. I bet we could train him to hold a fork if
we rewarded him with canned cat food, his favorite treat.
