Hi Guys;
Question about Plum seedlings:
Last year, I got 25 Dunbars Plum seedlings (6") from OIKOS.
I planted them in a little nursery, they are now 24" tall.
These things have leaves every inch, from the ground up!
They each have a couple 'branches' near the top, but a leaf every inch on
those, too!
Do you guys allow every leaf / stem / tiny branch to grow out?
I stripped the leaves off a few from about 16" down to the ground, trying
to encourage vertical growth.
These things are a one-bush thicket!
What would you do?
All comments gratefully received.
