Title: Message
Don't
expect to get a very hardy clone of rosemary; it always winterkills here in St.
Paul (zone 4b) even though I sometimes leave a plant in a most-protected
location. Some years it will overwinter in west-central Kansas (zone 6)
for my mom; some years it winterkills, all depends on the winter. -- Sam

http://www.nicholsgardennursery.com/ has an outstanding selection of rosemary ( the owner is Rose Marie McGee), including some hardy (for rosemary) varieties. I have "Sawyer's Select" that makes a bush over 6 feet tall and can produce long straight shoots that work as skewers. It's also quite beautiful in bloom, which it is doing right now.-Lon RomboughNEW grape pruning video: http://www.bunchgrapes.com/dvd.html View a short, low resolution clip here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Q58zFY0B1MGrapes, writing, consulting, my book, The Grape Grower, at http://www.bunchgrapes.com Winner of the Garden Writers Association "Best Talent in Writing" award for 2003.For all other things grape, http://www.vitisearch.comA video about The Grape Grower : http://cookingupastory.com/index.php/2008/04/18/the-grape-grower/On Apr 17, 2009, at 1:12 PM, Ernest Plutko wrote:
