Greetings Again,

Our son was in Portland a few weeks ago and bought us a gift jar of
"Marionberry" jelly.   It was good but we've never seen anything in
POMONA or CRFG's about marionberry.   Is that something that is
just promoted in Oregon or is it common item in the NW?

I've seen some articles by you in  either POMONA or CRFG's, best
I remember it was about persimmons or figs or both? I grow both,
I have several varieties of figs, just one tree of each.  Also have
several trees of Fuyu and Jiro plus two or three sports of Jiro.

I am seeking a small start of goumi, Elaeagnus multiflora. This plant is pretty common, but I don't have it in my collection yet. I can either pay for postage or do an exchange from my edible landscape collection. E-mail me directly at piper33_at_verizont_dot_net. I am also interested in the uncommon species of Elaegnus, if anyone has some of those to trade.
