Cliff:

St. Julian or Pixy will work, although neither dwarfed much (Zone south 6, US).

    Good luck.

Hello
I have been passed a few pieces of scion wood from Methley and Shiro
Japanese Plums.  The owner grows them as a fan against a fence panel,
the trees now exceeding 8ft tall.  As to the rootstock, he does not
know.  For plums I would usually used St Julian or Pixy.  Can anyone
offer advice as to a suitable stock?
Many thanks
