I agree about aroma.
My favorite apple to buy at the store is the Cortland. It is too warm
where I live to grow Cortland, however. I looked into Gravenstein, and
they appear to be quite blight susceptible, a problem for me.
Are there any other varieties that may be grown in the south (and blight
resistant) that may be considered aromatic?
