We are in the middle of the growing season when every day the fruit trees are adding a new chapter to the story of this years harvest. Isn't this the important subject matter of this list?
Absolutely
These lengthy discussions of ecology and environmentalism are important but in my opinion belong in another forum. Maybe in mid-winter when there's not so much going on we can throw one of these logs on the fire but there's plenty of better fuel to burn right now.
One might say that the potential impacts of our decisions are always on-topic and that humans often enough create bigger problems by failing to take an honest look at the problems we create. If an issue requiring additional study is found, we could do worse than staying informed and looking at detail.
