Alan,

From the label, I thought it meant it couldn't be used in residential neighborhoods due to the risk of bystanders being exposed to the chemical.  I thought it was a safety thing because of organophosphates higher toxicity to humans.  Sort of like Guthion (RU) can't be sprayed with a backpack/hand sprayer because of it's high toxicity.  I can buy Imidan from my chemical supplier, as it's not RU, but I haven't, because I live in a residential area.

I stand corrected.  Imidan has been removed as a product that can legally be used for residential use but I'm not sure what that means.  I have to assume that it can't be used in a residence as it is being sold routinely by suppliers who service the landscape industry and not just by agricultural suppliers.  Anyone out there have the info on that?
