Maine does NOT allow dropped apples to be served to people. End of
story.
No how, not in any product.
Wooden Cider Presses are illegal for commercial use in Maine.
Only stainless, state-inspected stations are used.
Manure use must END, 90 days prior to harvest, in food crops.
Both of these rules test the integrity of the farmer.
The last crop we had here to poison people was Scallions.
Take a look at a field of any vegetable, being picked by Mexicans.
Look at the Mexicans.
Now, look around for a toilet.
There it is, 2500' away.
Good thing none of us tinkle in our orchards; right you guys???
