The price for the Starfrit is as good, or even cheaper than the old fashioned hand turned type I've seen here. There used to be someone in the Home Orchard Society that sold the hand-turned type, though. http://www.homeorchardsociety.org/

Hello all:
 
    My wife has finally said enough of fooling around with the plunger type manual cherry pitter and the hand crank operated apple pealer/corer.  Does anybody on this list have sources of information for commercial grade cherry pitters or apple pealer/corers?  Thanks.  Chris Patterson
