Hello,

I had tried one of those spiral strainers on grapes but never realized there was a special “grape” spiral.

I used the same spiral used for tomatoes (tomato sauce) and it plugged terribly with grape skin and seed.

I will check out your suggestion.

Tom

Try a food strainer, they work great on grapes if you use a grape spiral with them. You don't crush or grind the seed with them and the skin separates easily. You get the pulp with the juice but you can strain that out if just want pure juice.

They are sold as Back to Basics or Villaware Food Strainers, but be sure to get the grape sprial with one of them (you usually have to buy it seperately.) You can probably pick one up on e-bay at a low price.

NAFEXERS:

This has probably been discussed many times but Now I am in the market for a juicer other than the steamer juicer which I have and still like. My neighbor has a Juiceman juicer he demo-ed for me and I am thinking of one but I believe you all know of a better one; for small scale that is; e.g., 6 muscadine rows 100 feet long.

Many Thanks
