Thibideau didn't make it through the first winter (or was it the weeds it
had for company?) which reached at least -25 last year."
My Thibodeau thrives after a -30 Winter with no snow! And no winter protection! Here, North Central Minnesota, Fort Kent needs to be covered for the Winter because any part exposed to the elements gets fried in our low humidity. Fort Kent is extravagantly productive and well worth the time to winterize it. I haven't had Thibodeau long enough to give a report but it appears that it might do as well as Fort Kent without winter protection. I also have Bangor and Maria, selections from Maine and will report on them as I have reliable information.
