This may not be what you are looking for, but One Green World is offering a
pistachio that they claim will take zone 6 winters. I'm skeptical, but were
I not running out of space I might be looking to get one myself.

Not trying to repeat a thread, but Lon or others, do you know of a
source for plantable pistachio nuts...want to experiment here in the
Northeast.


also, are Chinese Pistache nuts remotely edible? I know they are small
and are not the ones of commerce.
