I am not sure what you mean by flowering quince. The OH x F rootstocks
can be grafted to BA 29-C quince and also to Japanese chanomeles quince
and seem to form a smooth union. In the reverse, quince grafted onto
pyrus rootstock, certain quince tend to overgrow the graft, depending upon
the rootstock, although they may be compatible.
