- Subject: [NAFEX] apple blossom disease?

Funny what we notice & when we notice it....
I just found, on some apple trees I've been looking at all winter, some dead
dried
flowers which never fell off since spring. They look just like a blossom
after
petal-fall, but dry & brown.
Most interesting, I notice this on 2 closely related cultivars, growing
side-by-side, one tree has it but not the other.
Any ideas on what this is? If a disease, should I NOT be distributing
scionwood
from my plantings until I get rid of this disease?
