Hello,

 

You could introduce plant hormones to the graft union that inspire callous.  You will find this in rooting hormone.  The ancients used Greek willow bark to bind their grafts.  Willow water may give you similar results.  Willow bark being a very good source of rooting hormone.

A question for you long time grafters out there..

I am doing a science project, and I want try to get as much callus tissue on the graft as I can.  What factors effect the amount of callus tissue formed on a graft?
