Lots of wineries in Minnesota and Wisconsin, as well as in New England and elsewhere are making wines from Swenson varieties. St. Croix, Prairie Star, Louise Swenson, Edelweiss, and more. Few use any sugar. Do a search for Minnesota wineries.
See Tom Plocher's book at http://www.northernwinework.com/ for full information on vinifying Elmer's grapes.
And yes, there are French Hybrids in the ancestry of a lot of Elmer's grapes. Seibel 1000 is an ancestor of St. Croix, Sabrevois, and several others. S. 11803 is the male parent of Swenson Red.
Here's where you can go to see the parentage of most of Elmer's grapes:

I'm wondering if Lon or anyone else might know if any wineries are
bottling wines with Swenson grapes. & is it possible that any of the
wines are made without adding sugar? & out of curiosity, did Swenson
ever use any French hybrids in his breeding program?
