- Subject: [NAFEX] off topic: Yellow Birch Request
- Date: Wed, 7 Jun 2006 00:36:55 -0400
Well, it's not completely off-topic. One of the reasons I'm looking for the tree is that I like chewing on the twigs - tastes like wintergreen. But it's a lot prettier than black birch, which has even more wintergreen flavor.
Anyhow, does anyone know nursery of other source that could sell me a small yellow birch seedling for planting in my backyard? It seems to be a very uncommon plant to grow, unlike the whites, which are available everywhere.
Thanks,
