I've heard that calcium is good for fruit trees, but what type do you
use? Is it the calcium carbonate (lime) you can get at the feed store,
or is it some other type of calcium. Thanks.

bruceThe stuff that Gardens Alive sells as "Pelletized Calcium" says on the package:Guaranteed Analysis Calcium (CA) 38% derived from Calcium Carbonate. The instructionssay to apply 2oz at planting time and 2 lbs annually at the drip line in the springfor established trees. I have never applied Calcium to my apple trees as my soil is ladenwith the stuff.Rodney in Northeast Wy zone 4
