- Subject: [NAFEX] Asian Pear Pollination
- Date: Fri, 28 Apr 2006 12:50:46 -0500
I purchased and planted a 2-in-1 Asian pear tree from Stark Bros. in Spring 2004. It's Korean Giant (they call it Olympic Hardy Giant) on dwarf stock with Shinseki grafted on it. The Korean Giant part is blooming now, but the grafts do not have flowers. A number of ornamental pears are also blooming in the area now. Will any of them pollinate the Korean Giant?
